In order for America to survive the current economic, moral and military challenges... We must re-establish a firm set of Principle's that our Country must be represent...

THAT the preservation of our Nation and the security of our citizens depend upon the Constitution, the laws, and the courts, and that respect for them is the responsibility of every individual and elected official.

THAT all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, amongst these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

THAT the right of the individual to pursue happiness does not guarantee happiness. Individuals have the right to be themselves and pursue their dreams as long as they respect the rights of others in the process.

THAT basic human dignity is the right of all men, women and children. No individual or group has the right to seize the life or dignity of those who are helpless, innocent or cannot defend or speak for themselves.

THAT those who cannot truly provide for themselves should be assisted by both government and society, but that every effort should be made to help them become self-supporting, productive citizens with pride in the independence so long as it does not violate the US Constitution.

THAT it is in our Nation's best interest to promote and support the union of Man and Woman, thru the institution of Marriage, for the creation of Life and the assurance of future generations of Americans.

THAT equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity belong to all, regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin.

THAT the cornerstones of our Nation are responsible citizens. Individuals who take responsibility for their actions, their lives and their families.

THAT the United States of America is our home and must always remain one unified nation of states. Efforts by those to destroy the continued unification of our nation or to bring physical harm upon our nation or its citizens will be opposed.

THAT it is absolutely essential to maintain a strong national defense in order that we may at all times negotiate from a position of strength, not weakness, in our continuing efforts toward world peace and friendship. Only a strong America can remain a free America.

THAT the government activities should be limited to those things which people cannot do at all, or cannot do so well for themselves so long as it does not violate the US Constitution.

THAT the most effective government is government closest to the people… and that which is least involved in the way we live, worship, socialize and raise our families.

THAT government is accountable for maintaining sound money and a responsible economy. Individual rights, liberties and properties are continually eroded when citizens are oppressed by excessive taxation, inflation, government waste and over-regulation.

THAT the US Constitution guarantees all American Citizen's the right to private gun ownership and those rights should not be infringed by the Federal, State or Local Governments.

With These Beliefs.. Come Equal Responsibilities...

Individual Responsibility
: We Believe the Cornerstone of every nation are its responsible citizens. Individuals who take 100% responsibility for their actions, their lives and their families. Responsible Individuals work for what they have, they never steal, never lie and are generous to those who are less fortunate. Their Generosity comes from kindness, not the law. They don't believe that any one individual is greater than another. Each person has different gifts and talents and it is the individuals responsibility to become what they were destined to be. Responsible individuals don't blame others for their weaknesses or their failings... and they never feel entitled to anything they did not work for.

Corporate Responsibility: We believe that Companies need to be held responsible for the way in which they do business. They should be fair, honest and responsible members of their communities. They should not exploit their workers, their customers or their communities. They, like responsible individuals should pay their fair share of taxes.
They like responsible individuals are not entitled to anything for which they did not earn through honest business practices and hard work.

Governmental Responsibility: Local, State and Federal Governments need to respect the rights of their individuals. They have a constitutional responsibility to not infringe on the way we raise our families. They have a constitutional duty to protect life, to protect our liberty and not to promote the religion of Atheism as our official national religion. Their duty is to fulfill the obligations as set forth in our Constitution.  They must spend every tax dollar in a responsible fashion. The Government should never try to take on the responsibilities of individuals, their families or business. They have their own duties.

Social Responsibility: The Individual, the Business and the Government have the responsibility of recognizing that they are all on the same team.  We have a duty to help those who physically can not take care of themselves. We have a special responsibility to our Seniors and Children. We have a moral responsibility to help our neighbors when faced with disasters - both personal, economic and environmental. We all have a duty to community... to each other.
We are Americans!

Personal Thoughts...

My Beloved Country...

I have loved my country ever since I was a small boy. I cannot recall exactly how that love affair first began but unlike so many other school boy crushes that pass with time, I have carried this love with me throughout my life ever since.

I grew up in New York City during the time of the Vietnam war, race riots, drugs, hippies, streaking, moon landings, Watergate, DDT, Oil Embargos, Long Lines at the Gas pump, China coming out of isolation, The Son of Sam, Russia invading Afghanistan, Carter's "Fireside Chats", Nuclear Holocaust Fever, The Cold War and severe economic recession. By the time I was 13 my father had died and my mother was raising 3 children on her own. It was a time of turmoil and of uncertainty in some ways very similar to our own times.

Like so many other people, I had to work, to sweat for every dollar I have ever received. If I wanted something, if I needed something, I had to go out and work for it. My first job was at 10 years old delivering dog food in a red wagon for $.25 an hour + tips. People would call into the local pet store, order their 25 and 50lb bags of dog food and I would deliver them by foot pulling my little red wagon. I would go out of my way to pick up my little sister, throw her on top of the bags of dog food and give her a free ride to my destination and of course back home. We would then take my tips and anxiously await the sound of Mr. Softy (the Ice Cream Truck) and celebrate a brief moment of rest with each other, licking the vanilla ice cream out of our cones. Even in tough times the small things with friends and family can create wonderful, lasting memories.

The point is times were tough. Life was tough and America was hurting. If America were a young woman, it would have been like falling in love with one of the ugliest girls in the class. Yet despite what she looked like to the rest of the world, I did fall in love with her. She captivated me. She inspired me. To me her beauty never waivered.

I can still remember the words she first whispered to me so many years ago. Words that captured my heart and in times so challenging, words that gave me hope.

"We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights that amongst these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

These simple words are words that reflect the very essence of who we are as nation, as a people and as brothers and sisters on this tiny planet we call our home. It is our mutual declaration of what we hold sacred and in the end what separates us from the evil that lurks in this world.

And in order to make that declaration enduring to be able to weather the turbulent times that every relationship experiences, we put those words in writing to always remind us and keep us on our noble course. And in doing so, We made it real… and We the many, We the different -- became united to each other as WE THE PEOPLE.

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Some 40 years have now passed since first falling in love with my country. And even though I am older and a bit more weathered than when I was a boy, I am still the same person. My beloved Country has also grown older; lines of aging that are born out of Life's struggles and the sacrifices of her children, now mark her once innocent and youthful face.

The years have been tough on my beloved. Others who have resented her beauty have attacked her and bruised her. The selfish have squandered her riches and with false promises of prosperity and liberty, members of her own family had her betrayed. And while she slept, while we all slept, bandits posing as her guardians came into her house in the night and bankrupted her leaving her nothing but from whence she came - We, Her People.

And now our beloved Country cries out to us her people to save her.

So here we now stand, on the precipices of History, facing our own critical moment in time. Will this generation that has enjoyed the fruits of Life and Liberty, deny these very same fruits to future generations?
